Premier League Match Day 6 Preview : Luton 1 vs 1 Wolves

Luton town is one of the newly promoted team in the league and many people believe they may not survive the relegation but their performance against Wolverhampton Wanderer kept many people wondering.




Though it was a cloudy day in town, the pitch was in a good condition which allow technical play.

The home side enjoyed a fair share of possession from the start of the game and had the first chance to score on the 10th minutes when Carlton Morris shot from outside the box bounce of the crossbar.

Seven minutes later, Alfie Doughty send a cross to his opponent box and was able to find  Jacob Brown but his header was saved by Jose Sa while Alfie Doughty had another effort saved a minute later.

The first was a one-sided show as the home team dominating possession and pushing the away team to face more pressure and committing fouls, on 38th minutes, Jean-Ricna Bellegrade make a rough challenge on Tom Lockyer and was given a straight red card  which was approved by VAR.

The first 45 minutes end in goalless but the home team from start to finish were the best side and had an advantage going into the second half with an extra man.

The second period get underway and the home team were not relent as they nearly find a breakthrough when Chidozie Oghbene create a goal scoring opportunity for his team but Olivier Burke sees his effort saved by ever-ready Jose Sa.

Wolves were able to find a breakthrough in the 50th minute  when Pedro Neto capitalized on a defensive blunder by Tom Lockyer to make it 1-0 for the away team.

There was a penalty call by the home team when Joao Times handles the ball the the box , after  reviews by the referee via VAR, he decided to award to the home side a penalty which was put away by Carlton Morris to make it 1-1.

The home team had another glorious chance to take all three points but Tom Lockyer send his header wide while also having a goal ruled out by VAR .

The newly promoted premier league side are still looking for  their first win in their premier league history.
